10th Mountain Division News Roundup

If you are in the area, stop by to support the 10th Mountain 4th BCT at their Deployment ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 30, at Fort Polk; public invited

The Michigan State University ROTC fitness centerhas been named in honor of 10th Mountain soldier 1st LT Adam Malson. He was assigned to 4/31 Inf and was killed in action in February 2005 while saving a woman from a burning car.

Fort Polk's 1st Maneuver Enhancement Brigade hosts a change of responsibility ceremony Oct. 7 at 11 a.m. on 1st MEB Field. The
brigade's top NCO, Command Sgt. Maj. Arthur R. Vanwyngarden, relinquishes responsibility to Command Sgt. Maj. Edward E. Russell.
