Fort Drum to light community Christmas Tree and Menorah on December 2.

FORT DRUM, NY - Fort Drum will host the 2009 annual Christmas Tree and Menorah Lighting Ceremony on December 2 at 5:15pm. Christmas carols and a visit from Santa Claus arriving on a fire truck will also be highlights of this yearly tradition here on post.

The annual Christmas Tree and Menorah Lighting Ceremony will be held at the large pine tree just outside the Main Post Chapel. The ceremony will be followed by a Christmas party at Youth Services where Santa will take note of holiday wishes and hand out some early gifts.
