Press Release- Soldiers now getting critical air traffic control training on Fort Drum

Fort Drum, NY - Media is invited to cover the first wave of Soldiers
training at Fort Drum's Wheeler-Sac Army Airfield new Air Traffic Control
Simulator. The simulator re-creates a wide range of real-life situations for
air traffic controllers, providing critical training and experience for
combat operations.

Training Soldiers and simulator subject matter experts will be on hand for
interviews.

Media interested in participating in the demonstration should be at the
Media Ops Center on Route 26 no later than 1 p.m. on Thursday, February 18.
Due to limited space please RSVP no later than Wednesday, February 17 by 4
p.m.
