Jefferson County plans "Safe Haven" awareness push
County DSS officials, the DA and the Youth Bureau have come up with nearly a dozen such places called "safe havens." They include county hospitals, the children's home, Watertown Fire and Police stations, Guilfoyle Ambulance and the Emergency Services building on Fort Drum. The Emergency Services building is located near the corner of Mt Belvedere Blvd and South Riva Ridge Loop.

Soldiers Sign Over Joint Security Station to Iraqi Federal Police
The Government of Iraq took ownership of Joint Security Station 799 from Company C, 2nd Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, during a Feb. 14, ceremony.
